"Mental Health is Wealth Project"

Our “The Mental Health is Wealth Project” was a once-a-year mental health awareness event. This yearly event featured a panel of mental health advocates from the community. There they shared their inspirational stories, experiences, and mental health resources to inspire and uplift the community.

We are now expanding this existing program into a monthly mental health and wellness community-led solutions campaign. It will target the

BIPOC communities in the Arapahoe, Denver, and El Paso Counties.

This culturally responsive program aims to strengthen bonds, amplify voices, and address health inequities within the BIPOC community.

This monthly campaign will help prompt discussions on community needs, challenges with mental health and wellness, and coping strategies in the BIPOC community.

The Mental Health is Wealth Project is a campaign shaped by the BIPOC community. By pursuing and creating diverse and inclusive partnerships with other BIPOC community organizations. All involved in the project will be minorities living with a mental illness. They are dedicated to engaging the community and dismantling the fears of seeking mental health help. Thus achieving health equity.
